Kolor Kut modified water-indicating paste is sold in packs of 6 or 12 tubes of 85 g each.
Kolor Kut's modified water/alcohol indicator paste is a field test for detecting the presence of water at the bottom of biofuel tanks. Biofuels can saturate the water base with alcohol, rendering conventional water-indicating paste ineffective.
To perform the test, coat a weighted rod or rope with the paste and plunge it to the bottom of the tank. The paste, originally brown, turns bright red on contact with water, or yellow on contact with an alcohol-water mixture containing less than 6% water, thus indicating the level of water present at the bottom of the tank.
This product has no official expiration date and should be stored between 0 and 45°C.
