Description
Standardized fluid metering methods are used to check the cleanliness of fluids. This method is important because, although relatively time-consuming and costly, it represents the reference method by which other methods are judged. It applies to all solid particle pollution monitoring of fluids used in hydraulic transmission systems, as well as jet fuels.
This standard consists in filtering by depression a known volume of fluid through a grid membrane in order to retain solid particulate pollution on the surface of the filter.

In the aeronautics industry, hydraulic circuits require a high level of cleanliness. We therefore look for the degree of pollution by solid particles: metal chips, grains of sand, dust, etc. This method is covered by SAFRAN Laboratories' Attestation de Qualification des Procédés Spéciaux No. AQPS 490, and complies with the following standards NF L 41-101 and NF L 41-102 standards.
From a sample you have given us, we will carry out an analysis of the pollution of your hydraulic fluid. This result allows us to authorize or not the operation of a circuit or the jet fuel, and to know the possible causes of an anomaly.
In addition, we will soon be able to offer particle counting in accordance with ISO 16232:2018. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any requirements in this area.
