Description
Alcogage is sold in packs of 6 or 12 bottles, each weighing 100 g.
The Alcogage is a field test used to detect the presence of alcohol in tanks or vats.
A color change occurs, with a pink tint appearing if the fuel sample contains 30 ppm of water or more.

The product has a shelf life of 5 years.
Instructions for use
- Take a weighted rod or rope that can reach the bottom of the reservoir or tank
- Coat the rod or weighted cord with Alcogage paste on the section where alcohol is expected to be present
- Place the weighted rod or rope in the tank until it reaches the bottom, and leave it there for 1 second
- Pull up the rod or weighted rope and measure the lower section where the color has changed from a uniform dark green to a mixture of dark green and deep blue.
- Calculate the remaining volume of alcohol using the dimensions of the tank and the height determined in step 4.
